Becoming Real - Fast Motion (2010)

This has a great DVA remix, and has been bumping to my ears the past several weeks or so. Strange, distinctly UK grooves. not THAT funky, ha.

Scientist Launches Dubstep into Outer Space - Dubstep Originals (2010)

Ugh

... I feel bad. But anybody who knows Scientist is far too stoked to hold back

And I've got myself 320bitrate versions of the Dubstep Originals, sooo

it's really hard to resist posting this. But uh, I'm anticipating a fairly quick take-down. I suppose it's nice that it's only the Dubstep Originals. The actual album, of course, will have the actual album. This is such a delightful preview, it's absurd.

Most tracks prevail. Misspelt/perhaps not legit copy. Be stoked for the actual release late this month.

Download here: change Kind Midas to King Midas, and buy the actual album: it's worthy!

Celer - Poulaine

Now, THIS is a Celer release. Captures my favorite aspects of them. Slow calculated mediated uncertain; swells. Different than Cantus Libres considerably, less fuzz more lessness.

Buraka som Sistema - Essential Mix 04/09/10

This is that real real

Kindest Lines - Kindest Lines (Bridgetown Records, 2010, CD-r)

I know I don't exist; I don't exist to know.

New music for new humans. The shoegazing elements of this EP are great, reminds me of some M83 opening band. Electronic post-Warpaint, post-"chillwave" "shoegazer"/"gothic". Good music nonetheless, girl group homages are always appreciated, and wall of sound anticipations feel good (any time you hear that Ronettes/Spector beginning drum rhythm, you know what's coming)

Kindest Lines - SelfTitled EP

Anticipate a full release real soon. And hype, girls in dark clothes, and Impose namedrop

Swami Kriya Ramananda

These are two albums I posted on the old instazome. Late 70s/early 80s perfected "new age" ambient drones hums.

A Woman Under The Influence

I finally got around to watching this, and I wish I had not waited so long. I would recommend you watching it as soon as possible as well. It works well with the youtube zome.

Improvisations for Prayer, Improvisations for Flea

Finished the Fransz Joseph/ShiftingCactusintheDaisySands/Flea jams. Well, I mean, I improvised another 20 minute set today. All very rough, but that is what improv is for. Silence is good. "Flea" refers to "good," "silence," "yes," "relearning French," "il faut apprendre," etc.
